हे प्रभु! देहि मे तद्जीवनम्

हे प्रभु! 

देहि मे तद् जीवनम् ।

यद्भवति तव आश्रितम् ।।

देहि मे तद्धैर्यम्।

योऽस्ति विना दैन्यम् च पलायनम्।।

देहि मे तद् सौख्यम्।

 योऽस्ति अन्येषु विना क्लेषोत्पादकम्।।

देहि मे तद् गुरूता।

यद्भवति रहित यांच्या।। 

देहि मे तद् लघुता।

यद्शक्नोतिस्पर्शम् तव पादुका।।

O God!

Give me that life which is dependent on You.

Give me that patience that fights helplessness or timidity driven avoidance either.

Give me that pleasure which doesn't produce pain to others.

Give me that gravity which comes without cravings from anyone for anything.

Give me that smallness that is able to touch your feet only.
