Did You Know?

Knowing these words is not necessary at all. 

         However knowing them may be interesting to those who are driven by the passion to enrich their vocabulary.

So here is the list-

1. The cry of a new born baby is called 'vagitus'.

2. The space between your eyebrows is called 'glabella'.

3. The little toe or finger is called 'minimus'.

4. The sick feeling that you get after eating and drinking too much is called 'crapulence'.

5. The space between your nostrils is called 'columella nasi'.

6. The sheen of light that you see when you close your eyes and press your hands on them is called 'phosphenes'.

24. Snollygoster is a person who is without any principles in his dealings with anyone. His only principle is opportunism.

25. Accimus- is a pretentious behaviour of someone when outwardly s/he doesn't show interest in a person, thing or event but inwardly very keen to know these without being exposed.
