Respecting the roots, custom, tradition and social & family relations.
Here goes a short story--
***
Son- Father! What do you mean by Successful life?
Father(staring at his son and thinking for a while to answer it)- Come; let us go to the field to fly a kite.
The two went to the nearby field and took to flying a kite.
Soon the kite went higher and higher in the sky.
The son rejoiced seeing the kite soaring too high in the sky. It seemed to the boy that the tension in the string connected to the spool that controlled the flying of the kite was something that was hindering the kite from gaining new altitude.
Son- Father; Don't you see that it's the string that prevents the kite from going higher? Cut the thread to free it from the spool.
The father cut the string; The kite for a while did go higher than it was a little while before but soon the kite began to fall down waywardly under the force of wind from different directions in the sky and the kite finally fell into a ditch full of mud and squalor.

The father now explained.
Son! Did you observe that the moment the kite's connection with the string got severed, for a while, it did go up but it soon fell down?
Exactly this is what happens in our life.
In the spree of being over ambitious in our life, we cut the bond that binds us to our roots in the form of family & social relations, culture and tradition. We, too ultimately, like that kite go up to a limited extent but thereafter only to fell down finally.
While treading the path of material development, we begin to view these as obstacles and hindrance to our growth, development and progress.
But in reality it is this bond that keeps us balanced in our life.
It's not a bete noire but a desideratum.
So no matter how high you go up in your journey of success ; always remain tied to the bond built by the family & social relations and remain connected to your roots whose tree you are.
This is the real success.
