Care, Caution and Enjoyment.
A few months ago it occurred to me that I must rise in the morning for a walk to enjoy seeing nature regenerating itself every morning. Long back a relative of mine possessed with superior wisdom told me that nature is at its best in the morning. It distributes without distinction the nectar in bountiful of fresh rejuvenating air, supple greenness around and chirping sounds of birds etc. He had also gone to say that seeing the Sun slowly and steadily rise above the horizon brings serenity of mind and fills body and mind of a person with great internal energy. Watching the red baby Sun taking birth out of the horizon, he believed, is auspicious that leaves us spirited all the day. While I was not unaware of what he would mean, it remained at best a pep talk to me until I set out at 5 hours in the morning wearing sports shoes recently purchased.
It was a great feeling to testify all that what he said and also all that what I had imagined. But a nuisance developed in the form a small pebble that sneaked into the left shoe while on walk on a grumpy and bumpy road used by me as a natural choice of track for want of the same in a small city of my posting.
Despite my tendency to ignore a thing till it is so this nuisance during the walk went on being intense in no time. It caused me to a sudden stop and unlace my shoe to find that tiny pebble removed.
This involuntary stop in the walk gave me a mixed feeling to mull that I must not have taken notice of that pebble, like of which were in abundance on the road, had it not got into my shoe to cause pain during walk. I had also found that I had fastened the lace improperly loose while setting out for such walk in a hurry.
So is with our life also. Even a seemingly unimportant thing or event if not recognized by way of giving the due it requires can land the journey of life in trouble. So, I felt prompted to conclude that happiness is also linked to being careful and cautious about the surroundings that may not be all favorable though it may seem so.
