Lord Sri Ram- The Provider as well as The Restorer.
Suppose your cell phone is snatched away by a street urchin or you are travelling in a train and your purse is stolen or your ear wear is lost in a crowded market or you forgot one of your luggage while catching a bus or train or getting into a metro in haste.
In the same way if an incident of theft occurs in a house, are the precious articles so stolen recovered?
If yes, how much and after what strenuous efforts,if any? Anybody can guess.
Less said the better.
Instances could be numerous like these examples.
What happens then?
At most you lodge an FIR whose outcome is mostly inconsequential in so far as recovery of your lost belongings is concerned.
In the least, you definitely become disappointed and frustrated.
Such incidents do happen sometimes and somewhere with many of us.
Did we regain the thing which was lost by the way described above?
Most of us will answer in the negative.
****************************************************
Similarly, imagine a person who, for some reason, falls prey to a disease that is fatal or intractable.
What is the possibility that he would regain his health in the same measure as it was before having fallen prey to that disease?
The same is way if you lose your image or reputation by your indulgence in any activity temptuous, contemptuous or criminal; then do you regain in same measure your lost image or reputation subsequently?
****************************************************
Experience says that regaining a thing that is lost is far far more difficult than when you achieved it.
You also may have felt that when a thing is lost out of your possession it becomes highly difficult to regain the same form, substance or quality.
Sometimes it becomes impossible to regain it even despite best efforts.
This "thing" could be anything; This may be your health, precious belongings, reputation, good will, relationships, power, post or the likes of those.
Therefore, one must have a sense of deference towards whatever is useful or precious he happens to own by virtue of merit or providence. One should be mindful enough with regard to the things of importance one may have.
While possessing it one may feel that it is just a normal thing.
But you soon realise its importance the moment it takes leave of you.
****************************************************
Any amount of labour and effort that you put in for regaining or restoring what you lost; your chance of getting that, generally speaking,is not certain.
Only in one situation, the same could be regained or restored.
Disbeliever who is powerful and full of resources names this situation "good luck".
****************************************************
But those who are weak and devoid of resources like me must depend on the blessings of Sri Ram. For it is none other than Sri Ram who can not only provide everything that one needs but can also restore one with what has been lost.
Be it their possession, health or glory.
But the same can't be restored unless Lord श्रीराम becomes pleased with them.
Means of pleasing Sri Ram lies in merely remembering Him while treading the path of duty honestly, diligently and innocently.
It is Lord Shri Ram who can bring back the "thing" lost for people whose only hope is "He" only.
There is no other way.

Goswami Tulsidas in the Ramcharitmanas has said-
The all-powerful(सबल)master(साहेब) Sri Raghunath,is the restorer(गई बहोर) of what has been lost.
He befriends the poor(गरीब नेवाजू) and is tender-hearted (सरल).
Let Shri Ram be pleased with us.
