Peace and Pleasure.

अशांतस्य कुत: सुखम्?

(How can one be happy without peace?)

When peace is gone pleasure disappears. 

        (It's a matter of common experience.)

       नास्ति बुद्धिरयुक्तस्य न चायुक्तस्य भावना।

       न चाभावयतः शान्तिरशान्तस्य कुतः सुखम्।।           

                          (Srimad Bhagvad Geeta 2.66)

The source of peace is doing thing which is either righteous or incident upon an individual as a matter of duty.

**************************************************

              The material possessions acquired in exchange of peace quite often turns out to be a source of pain and distress. 

                

                So the wise do everything without expending their peace.
