What an older person says with respect to an issue is not necessarily always correct. However the view that is expressed by an old person must be respected even when the view is found not that much fit to be worked upon. While setting aside such view,care should be taken that it must not offend the one offering such suggestions.  It could be done best by ignoring it or to say the least; by avoiding any such questions in terms of "why" and "what for". I am referring to a proposal made by Respected shree Narayan Murthy sir who goes to advocate 70 hours work week for youths. *******************************************************  Such types of unreasonable suggestions only serve to encourage over-enthusiastic but less enlightened profit-passioned employers. जीतने के दो तरीके हो सकते हैं. पहला तरीका तो यह है कि अपने क्षमता में उत्तरोत्तर वृद्धि करने का प्रयत्न किया जाय और इस बात पर कोई विशेष ध्यान नहीं देना कि शत्रु कौन है उसका बल कितना है, कैसा है. ऐसे व्यक्ति को तो सिर्फ अपने दोषों को दूर करने एवं अपने गुणों में अभिवृद्धि करने से प्रयोजन रहता है. इसी के सहारे वह स्वयं पर भी और शत्रु पर भी विजय प्राप्त करता जाता है.ऐसे व्यक्ति को जीतने के लिए कोई विशेष रणनीति की आवश्यकता नहीं होती है. वह इसलिए कि आत्मबल के समक्ष सभी बलों की सत्ता सिकुड़ जाती है, चाहे वह बल धनबल हो,बाहुबल,राजबल हो आदि. मैंने ऐसे सभी बलों को कभी न कभी इस आत्मबल के समक्ष झुकते हुए देखा है.  इसका कारण है. कारण यह है कि आत्मा परमात्मा का हीं अंश है; तो आत्मबल को परमात्मा का बल कहा जाय तो इसमें कोई हर्ज नहीं है.        जीतने के इस तरीके को हम आध्यात्मिक तरीका कह सकते है जो आत्मविजय से लेकर शत्रुविजय तक में समान रूप से उपयोगी होता है. ******************************************************* दूसरा तरीका है हमेशा इस बात से प्रयोजन रखना कि प्रतिद्वंद्वी या श...

There is a श्मशान घाट euphemistically called muktidham in the back of the Vishnupad Temple in the Gayaji.  In fact this श्मशान घाट is both adjoining as well as contiguous to a series of ghats namely Gajadhar, Devghat, Sangat Ghat, Gayatri Ghat.       All these ghats are in a stretch from one end to the other of the space that one finds behind the temple. A number of small openings in the form of small lanes from the temple provide access to these ghats. ************************************************** During the pitrapaksha these ghats including the श्मशान घाट too buzz with the devotees having come to the Gayaji to offer पिंडदान and तर्पण to their ancestors believed to be waiting for such offerings by their progeny.  Scene of people having come to this ghat for cremating the dead body of their near & dear ones and the same place being used by devotees offering पिंडदान just side by side is of special interest for those who want to find out the real meanin...
