राजगीर में मलमास मेला-एक व्यक्तिगत विवरण। ******************************************** **** सनातन धर्म में मान्यता है कि मलमास के महीने में 33 कोटि (कोटि एक संस्कृत शब्द है जिसका अर्थ "प्रकार" और "करोड़" दोनों होता है) देवी-देवता राजगीर में निवास करने आते हैं।                        इस दौरान देश और राज्य के विभिन्न हिस्सों से लाखों श्रद्धालु पूजा-अर्चना करने और ब्रह्मकुंड में पवित्र स्नान करने के लिए राजगीर पहुंचते हैं। ******************************************** मलमास मेला हर 3 साल में आयोजित होता है। राज्य के भू-राजस्व विभाग ने मलमास मेला को राजकीय मेला का दर्जा दिया है.  जिले में अन्य अधिकारियों, विभागों और परिष्कृत साहित्यिक अभिरुचि के व्यक्तियों के साथ समन्वय में, जिला जनसंपर्क अधिकारी (डीपीआरओ), स्वयं और अपने विभाग के माध्यम से, इससे संबंधित सर्वोत्तम घटनाओं / क्षणों को लाने / निकालने की दिशा में अपना सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रयास कर रहे हैं।  उनके इस तरह के नेक प्रयास से आम लोग भी सोशल मीडिया सहित प्रिंट और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक ...

These days my daughter has come to stay with me only to spend a part of her summer vacation with me. While preparing to go to the office I don't mind keeping my shirt over my pants, unlike most of my colleagues, senior or junior who do what is usually called undershirting or trouser tucking the shirt. She asked me: why don't you do like others? She told me further that somehow she has had the notion since her childhood that one who is an officer wears like keeping his shirt trouser tucked inter alia. Today I had the opportunity to offer Langot(Loincloth) and bow my head at the feet of the statue of Baba Maniram seated in the Shrine popularly known as "Baba Maniram Akhara".              Every year on the occasion of Ashadha Purnima better known as Guru Purnima the "Langot Mela"is organized with great fervor here at the Akhara to commemorate Baba Maniram. On this auspicious day of Guru Purnima,as per the tradition, the mela starts with the offering of 'Langot'(Loincloth) to the statue of Baba by the District Magistrate, Nalanda wishing for peace, progress and prosperity of the people of the District.  DM Nalanda Shri Shashank Shubhankar on the auspicious day of Guru Purnima offered Langot to the Baba and did all the rituals associated with the occasion on behalf of the people of the District.
