****************************************************** Bridges collapsing and trains colliding have become a commonplace incident in the country.  To many it may be on account of large scale corruption in building of such infrastructure like bridges or ROB etc.or violation of protocol as regards running of trains on tracks.  In case of bridges and ROBs some hold these incidents occurring due to lapses on part of the agency which is awarded work to execute after tender finalization. While it is not untrue it's not the whole picture. Apart from above which is perceived to be the direct cause of such mournful incidents, I hold the present technical education equally responsible for such mishap or accidents in its own way. ****************************************************** A very close relative of mine (the son of my wife's sister) cleared JEE Advance a few days ago. During my childhood days I would not know that there happened a day specially assigned to or associated with one who is known as a "father". Even my father had no knowledge of it.  In fact it mattered little for me as well as my father about the necessity of knowing the existence of this day.  I am also not sure whether this so called father's day ever existed in the past in such popularity even in culture wherefrom it is presumed to have come in our society or country. ************************************************** In our times father had full liberty to take decisions on behalf of his son or daughter. A "taxed education system" can't produce an individual who is "great". Rather it tends to produce a class of citizens that is "special" or "privileged". चलिए आज आपकी तश्तरी में अंग्रेजी के कुछ शब्दों को परोसता हूॅं. यदि आप भी मेरी तरह एक शब्द प्रेमी हैं तो इसे जान कर आपको अच्छा महसूस होगा.  जरूरी नहीं कि इन शब्दों का इस्तेमाल आप कहीं करें हीं लेकिन हर वो शख्स जिसे आदतन रोज कुछ न कुछ नये अल्फाज़ सीखना पसंद है वह इसे पढ़ना पसंद कर सकता है. इसे पढ़ कर उन्हें "फील गुड" जैसी फीलिंग आ सकती है. कुछ शब्द प्रेमी तो ऐसे भी होते हैं जो जब तक सीखे शब्दों को अपने लेखन या भाषण में इस्तेमाल नहीं करते तब तक उन्हें चैन नहीं पड़ता. हालाॅंकि words पर mastery हाॅंसिल करने के लिए ऐसा करना ठीक हीं है.  क‌ई शब्द तो इस्तेमाल की बाट हीं जोहते रह जाते हैं और डिक्शनरी में पड़े-पड़े सिर्फ उसकी शोभा बढ़ाने के काम आते हैं.खैर. ********************************************************* आइए कुछ ऐसे शब्दों पर नजर डालते हैं— १. एक शब्द है lucoptia. जानते हैं इसका अर्थ? यदि आपका आत्मविश्वास इस प्रकृति एवं कोटि का है कि उसका प्रदर्शन लोगों को आपके उद्दंडता का परिचायक लगे तो समझिए आप Lucoptia से पीड़ित हैं.  इसका वाक्य में प्रयोग देखा जा सकता है- I appreciate...
